At the PGA TOUR Golf Academy, our Junior Development Program allows students to be introduced to, develop, and perfect the game of golf over a 6 week after-school program, with the ultimate goal of competing in the annual US Kids golf tournaments. With a variety of teaching methods including on-course instruction, swing-tracking technology, and classroom learning, our students will focus on developing all aspects of the game as well as understanding the importance of teamwork, etiquette and discipline.
We instruct our juniors in a positive, fun, and interactive way that is personalized to the individual. This means that we keep our group sizes small and have players of the same skill levels and ages learning together in a friendly environment. Our goal is to give juniors the coaching and support they need to improve and learn the game of golf as young men and women. We believe that golf offers juniors of all skill levels the opportunity to learn fundamental values that will stick with them for years to come.
Programs are available for juniors between the ages of 7 – 14, and are held in the afternoons on Wednesdays in the Fall. Each semester will last 6 weeks, at which point the student is eligible to test into the next skill level course. Our students are also encouraged to participate in our Winter, Spring Break & Summer Junior Camps, which will allow them to continue to perfect their game between seasons.
